SPROG ZINE

"The short poem, SPROG, and accompanying zine initially spawned as a way to communicate my transness to my mum, who had always referred to me affectionately as frog. Over time this evolved into many other variations and related terms of endearment. It just so happened that one of those names is a gender neutral way of referring to your children. I hoped that expressing this and telling a story about becoming yourself might help to transition into new perspectives and language that would affirm me as a trans non-binary person".
